AIR CONDITIONER

Your apartment is fitted with an air conditioning system.  For maximum efficiency please close all doors and windows when the system is in operation. Please set the temperature to the ideal temperature of 23 in summer and warmer in winter (be sure to change from cooling to warming setting in winter).

FOR HEAT: Ensure you have the sun icon on and the temperature set to 23 degrees with fan setting to maximum until the room reaches a comfortable heat.

FOR COOLING: Ensure you have the ice icon and the temperature set to 23 degrees with the fan setting to AUTO.

NB: Units including 101 bedrooms, 106 living/bedrooms and 207 bedrooms have a multi-head system so the sun/ice icon (heat/cool setting) must be set the same on each AC unit for them to work correctly.

BBQ

The BBQ located at the pool is open until 9pm and is available on a first come, first serve basis. Utensils and paper towels provided for your convenience. Please leave the BBQ clean for the next guest. 

BEACH & POOL TOWELS

Striped beach towels are provided in your apartment for use at the pool and beach. Beach towels are not part of the daily service, so please exchange wet towels for dry pool towels in the gym located on level 1 (opposite the lift). 

The Body Corporate does not permit anything to be hung over the balcony rails.

Always swim between the yellow & red flags when at the beach. This indicates that a lifeguard is on duty.  If you have any queries about the beach and surf conditions please consult one of the lifeguards on the beach.

CAR PARKING

Parking is provided on site. One unallocated vehicle space is provided for each apartment.

Please ensure your vehicle is parked correctly into a space provided to guarantee others easy access to the remaining car parks.

Skateboards, scooters etc. are not permitted in the car park.

Please contact reception if you need a second car space.

COMPLIMENTARY ITEMS

A pack of complimentary items are provided for your convenience (with more available at Reception). The housekeepers will replenish any used items at each daily service.

Please feel free to contact Reception if you need anything replaced.

DEPARTING

Check out time is 10:00am. To arrange a late checkout (subject to availability) please contact reception by dialing 9.

Before departure, please remove your rubbish (bins in the car park), place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and activate the wash cycle. 

Key cards must be returned to Reception upon check-out.

If you are leaving before 8.30 when reception opens, please place all your room keys in the white box above the green car park 'exit' button. 

Loss of access key cards will incur a $20 per card replacement charge.

DAMAGES

Any damages caused to the apartment or its contents during your stay will be charged to the credit card provided on check-in. Having signed our registration form authorises such charges to be made against the card. You are responsible for any damages caused to the unit by you or a guest/s staying with you or visiting you.

INSECTS & ANTS

Insects are part of sub-tropical Queensland and therefore we advise that you avoid leaving any food out on benches.   A personal insect repellent may protect from mosquitoes and sand flies after dusk.

LOST & FOUND

All items found within Maison Noosa will be delivered to reception.  Please contact reception by dialling ‘9’ for enquiries and assistance.

MAINTENANCE

Every effort is made to ensure your apartment’s appliances and fittings are in good working order prior to your arrival.  If you discover any faulty equipment that may have been overlooked please contact reception by dialling ‘9’ so we may replace or arrange for the repair or replacement of these items.

NOISE

Maison Noosa offers a relaxed holiday atmosphere for families, couples and groups.  We ask all guests to be mindful of the impact of noise on other guest’s experience. For noise issues after hours please dial 9 and connect to the building manager.  We thank you for being considerate of others.

SMOKING

Maison Noosa would like to thank you for not smoking as we are a totally non-smoking resort. Whilst we respect your right to smoke, smoking is prohibited in the interests of all guests within the resort. Additional cleaning charges will apply for non-compliance of this request.

VALUABLES

We cannot accept responsibility for money or valuables left in your room or vehicle. Ensure your room and vehicle is kept locked at all times. Please make use of the safe provided in your apartment and call reception on ‘9’ if you have any problems with your safe.

VISITORS

Guests are welcome to invite visitors to the resort within the guidelines of the ‘Booking and Occupancy Policy’ in this compendium.  Please check with reception in relation to parking facilities as unauthorised vehicles risk being towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

FIRE PROCEDURE

The unit alarm will sound for a maximum of 3 minutes before the fire brigade is notified.

If the smoke detectors alarm sounds as a result of burning toast or cooking, please use something to fan the smoke away from the detector and open a balcony door to clear the air (do not open your front door). 

In the event of a false alarm please dial 9 to notify reception or the duty manager. 

If there is a fire, please leave your unit as quickly and calmly as possible (please refer to the evacuation plan on the inside of your main door).

DO NOT USE THE LIFT.

GYMNASIUM

The gym is located on level one. Opening Hours are 7:30am-9:00pm daily. 

Please note that children under 16 are not permitted in the gym without parental supervision. We are not permitted to provide free weights for use in our gym.

Fresh pool/beach towels are located in the gym for your convenience. Please leave your wet towels in the gym.

HOUSEKEEPING

A daily service is part of the experience at Maison. Your apartment will receive a daily bath towel change (please leave the towels you want replaced on the bathroom floor), beds made and rubbish removed. 

Additional cleaning is an optional chargeable service.

Should you prefer your service to be done at a specific time of day, please contact our friendly reception team by dialing 9 on the unit phone.

Stays of seven nights or more will receive a mid-stay service on the fourth night.

If you do not wish to be disturbed by housekeeping, please contact Reception (dial 9) and please turn the privacy lock on your main door. If housekeeping is unable to enter your unit, they will leave a note with fresh supplies outside the front door.

ICE MACHINE

We have an ice machine located in the car park near the laundry for your convenience.

INTERCOM

From your room telephone, enter the code 23 when talking to a guest at the Intercom to release the glass door on level 1. 

LAUNDRY

Our fully equipped guest laundry is in the car park and is available to use free of charge (including laundry detergent).

PETS

Under the Body Corporate By-laws and local regulations animals are not permitted on the property under any circumstances.

PRIVACY LOCK    

Your apartment door is fitted with a privacy lock.  In the event that this is engaged housekeeping will leave a note under the door and leave fresh supplies outside your door.

POOL & SPA

Pool hours: 7:00am - 9:00pm

The swimming pool and spa are located on the beachfront side of the building on level 1.  The pool area is NOT patrolled by a lifeguard. Children are to be supervised by an adult at all times. Please be aware of the pool rules and follow all rules safely.

Pool depth is 1 to 1.6 metres.  The pool is heated in the cooler months.

All children including infants are required to wear suitable swimwear to prevent ‘little accidents’. 

Please dry off before leaving the pool area as you could create a risk to the safety of others by wetting tiled areas throughout the resort.

RECEPTION

Reception hours are:

  • 8:30am to 5pm - Monday to Saturday
  • 9am to 2pm - Sunday & Public Holidays

SECURITY

We encourage guests to be as vigilant as they are at home with security by locking doors and windows when they are not in the apartment and at night before retiring. 

Please lock your vehicle in the car park.  Do not leave valuables in your vehicle or on roof racks.

A registered security company patrols the resort through the evenings for your piece of mind. Should you have any after-hours concerns please don’t hesitate to call management (07 5447 4400) and follow the prompts to be connected with the manager.

TELEPHONE

Each apartment is equipped with a telephone. For anyone wishing to contact your room, they can simply dial the Maison Noosa number (07) 5447 4400 and follow the prompts to be connected.

Room to room calls - simply pick up the receiver and dial the room number that you wish to call i.e. 105 for Apartment 105

The telephones can receive but not make outside calls.

TV & FOXTEL

Free to to air channels range from digital channel 2 to channel 99

FOXTEL channels (mostly news and sports) are available on the Foxtel app on your TV. If there is no Foxtel app, you will need to change the TV source to HDMI 1 or 2  to access FoxtelNow via the external set top box. 

NETFLIX, STAN etc. can be accessed via the TV apps or FoxtelNow set top box. You will need to use your private credentials to login (as you would at home). Don't forget to logout before you leave.  

WASTE & RECYCLING

Garbage bins are located near the exit of the car park and the ground floor of the Hastings St stairwell (between 104 & 106), in the stairwell next to the laundry (under unit 101) and the stairs below 108 & 109. 

Please DO NOT leave rubbish outside your apartment door.

Before departure, please ensure you have removed the rubbish from your room.

WIFI & INTERNET

Login using the credentials provided to you at checkin or on your late arrival letter (if you arrived after hours):

If you are experiencing problems accessing your web site, please try www.abc.net.au and try loggin to the wifi. Sometimes https sites can be a problem.

Each room has a maximum bandwidth of 10Mb/s and unlimited data. If you find the speed has decreased, please try reducing the number devices streaming music/video. If you are using the Internet during the peak period between 7-11pm you may also notice the speed has reduced due to heavy use. Unfortunately this is out of our control.
